Do you have medications in your home that you don’t need, or have expired? Leaving medicines around can be dangerous for you and your family, and disposing of it incorrectly can be harmful to the environment.
You can dispose of your unwanted medicines responsibly via your local healthSAVE pharmacy.
Many healthSAVE pharmacies are registered as part of the RUM (Return Unwanted Medicines) Project network – please contact your local healthSAVE pharmacy before visiting to see if they are registered. This is a free and convenient way for you to dispose of unwanted medicines safely.
Simply remove any unwanted or expired medicine from your home, and return them to your local pharmacy, where your Pharmacist will put them in a secure bin for collection and safe disposal.
